Movement
As Medicine
An online course to help you find stillness in the chaos, soothe the nervous system, and have agency over your negative thoughts and emotions.
Your body holds the medicine to your emotional wellbeing.
If you took my quiz and saw that you’ve been stuck in a specific nervous system state, that is not a bad thing. Your nervous system isn’t “broken.” It just means that your body has been responding to stress, pressure, and overstimulation for a very long time, and has forgotten how to get out of that mode. In order to calm the body, you need to speak its language.
And that language… is movement.
Through movement, you can help the body know that it’s safe to release stress, pent-up emotions, and belief systems that aren’t serving you.
But here’s what most people don’t realize:
Not all movement is helpful for every nervous system state.
In fact, the wrong kind of movement can leave you feeling more anxious, more exhausted, or more disconnected.
That’s where this course comes in.
In this interactive course, you’ll…
01
Understand how the nervous system directly impacts your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and ability to take action; what causes nervous system dysregulation (states of burnout, anxiety, depression, and more), and why movement is the best tool to help with this.
02
Discover why some movement helps to calm your nervous system, and why other movement can backfire (and actually cause more dysregulation). You will learn a variety of nervous system friendly movements, and how to use them effectively to get your system to a state of balance.
03
You’ll walk away with a simple framework you can use to help you come up with your own personalized nervous system regulating routines daily. You’ll know how to move to help you feel grounded and peaceful in the moment, and also how to make a consistent daily routine that can help heal your nervous system overtime.

As a Certified Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) Teacher, I teach gentle movements from Qigong, an ancient Chinese mind-body practice used for thousands of years to calm the nervous system, balance emotions, and support overall health. Qigong is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, alongside acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Qigong combines mindful movement, breathwork, self-massage, and intention to help energy move freely through the body. When stress, illness, negative thoughts, or past experiences cause energy to feel “stuck,” it can show up as tension, pain, or emotional overwhelm. Qigong helps restore flow of energy in the body. The more flow of energy you have in the body, the less muscular tension, emotional overwhelm, and negative thoughts you will experience.
The movements are slow, gentle, and accessible. No mat required, and most practices can be done seated or standing.

Anything that you can move comfortably in! Loose fitted clothing is recommended to allow Qi (your life force energy) to flow freely throughout your body.
The good news is that the movements I will teach you in this course are not vigorous and do not typically cause one to sweat.
You do not need a yoga mat as most of the movements can be done either seated or standing. -
